So, tonight I watched the American Music Awards. It was good to catch up on some of the pop culture that I have missed (or rather, seen from another side of the ocean)these past two years.
Did you tune in? Your thoughts/opinions?
The highlight for me: seeing Snow Patrol perfom (I can't get enough of them recently)
The low point: Gwen Stefani's performance of her "next big hit"- it is probably among the worst 10 songs I've ever heard.

Ok, I have lived in the states while you have been away and I can say with complete honesty...WHO THE HECK ARE THE SKI PATROL? Is that even their name (i would have to go back & loose my comment to check)...I don't think you have much catching up to do my friend
