AMAs

So, tonight I watched the American Music Awards. It was good to catch up on some of the pop culture that I have missed (or rather, seen from another side of the ocean)these past two years.

The highlight for me: seeing Snow Patrol perfom (I can't get enough of them recently)

The low point: Gwen Stefani's performance of her "next big hit"- it is probably among the worst 10 songs I've ever heard.

9 days in paradise

eat, play, and be maui

well, Hawaii was amazing. i will post pictures soon, but just wanted to share that we (my parents and I) are on our way home after a 9 day vacation in paradise.
i know i have said this before, but i really could live there. at the very least it is one of my new favorite places. thanks again to the Kaneshiro family for hosting us. you guys are the best!
