Germany

Well, I just returned from a weeklong conference in the beautiful countryside of Germany. In my freetime I was able to explore some surrounding areas and fell in love with this beautiful area.

Highlights: a 1.5 hour Rhine river castle tour, new friends, Burger King, a chapel by Marc Chagall in Meinz, shopping at Wal-Mart Supercenter (no, they don't have all American products, but do have great prices and selection!), world famous Cologne cathedral, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, late nights of Phase 10...

I'm 25!

Thanks for you kind wishes, yesterday was a lovely day! My friends took me for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe (where I was sung to over a brownie sunday) and we finished out the day with a night bike tour of the city...though we got completely soaked at the beginning, the weather turned and gave us one of the most incredible sunsets I have seen here.

Getting older is not fun, but good time with friends exploring an incredible city is something I will never forget.

My trip to Provence was great, but it is nice to be back home in Paris. Marseille has turned into Gotham...(in one night I personally saw 2 crimes be commited and heard 5 gunshots)...crazy. So, we spent time exploring other cities in the area (Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Cassis). Thanks for thinking of me while I was away, the project was quite successful!
