our new couch from IKEA came with a small "easy to assemble" storage bin that fits underneath. we have not had time to put it together yet, so i had some extra time this afternoon and set to work...the first few steps were easy to follow and everything was going as described in the instructions...until one big piece of pressed cardboard would not slide correctly, preventing everything else from going together! i am currently taking a break...staring down the unfinished piece of furniture that has lied to me. the above pic was taken towards the beginning of the project when it seemed like it was going to be fun and productive...

the problem was finally solved with none other than duct tape...and works wonderfully storing my linens.

Bethany - I feel your pain. We have a dresser from IKEA that two of the drawers were always falling apart - Enter Duct tape! Happy Birthday!

I bought this bookcase from them [ikea] about a year ago and still can't figure out the last couple of pictures... the unit is currently leaning against the wall. You use duct tape, I use physics.
