Music suggestions anyone? I feel disconnected from the scene where I was hearing about new bands and CDs that were must-haves. Feel free to let me know what you are currently listening to so I can get it onto my IPod and be cool again ;)

I can't so much help you since I'm pretty sure I'm as much out of the "cool music scene" as ever. However, I can recommend to you some super-cool Mongolian and Chinese artists. =)I'm just part of another music scene now. =) Love you sister.

I heard Vanilla Ice has a new cd out....you should try it!
matt Brouwer's album "Unlearning is way good. Mute Math, Matt Wertz, Dave Barnes, U2's latest, Dave Matthews Band's latest. Kelly Clarkson's, Something Corporate's album "north", Robert Randolf and the Family Band, Miranda Dodson's album "Seriously", Can't go wrong with the infamous band Hopedoor....oh wait, you can. And a good worship CD is John Sherrill's "The Beautiful Gathering"
Maybe that can get you started. I wouldn't say that I necessarily listen to the "coolest" music though.
